Dora is a Mediator & Arbitrator and the co-founder of Leap! Divorce Solutions. She is a dedicated advocate for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and focuses her efforts on helping individuals alleviate the stress and anxiety that often arise during relationship breakdowns. She possesses extensive training in the theory, practice, and techniques relevant to mediation, negotiation, arbitration, and collaborative processes. Dora has successfully mediated disputes in various areas, including family matters, wills and estates, landlord-tenant issues, and other conflicts between community members.

Dora is a Chartered Arbitrator (C. Arb.), Chartered Mediator (C. Med.), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) ®, Registered Family Mediator of Alberta (RFM), and a Commissioner for Oaths in and for Alberta. 

Dora is actively involved in the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) community in Calgary, Alberta, and Canada. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada (ADRIC) as the Regional Affiliate Director for Alberta. Formerly, she was Treasurer and Board Director for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Alberta (ADRIA) and chaired the Skills Development Committee at the Community Mediation Calgary Society. Dora is also an active member of various organizations, including the ADR Institute of Canada, Alberta Family Mediation Society, and the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts.

Dora is an experienced ADR instructor. She is an instructor at Herzing College where she teaches several courses for the Kompass Professional Development program. These include “Foundations of Family Mediation” for the Family Mediation Certificate, as well as “Introduction to Alternative Dispute Resolution”, and “Managing Family Dynamics” for the Mediation and Dispute Resolution Certificate. Additionally, Dora teaches the course “Negotiating with Integrity” for the Funeral Services Diploma at Mount Royal University.

Dora has over 25 years of experience working with the public. She has 25 years of experience working for Alberta Justice and eleven years of experience in restorative justice with both the Edmonton and Calgary Police Victim Assistance Units. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Justice Studies from Mount Royal University. Her education and experience have provided her with a deep understanding of relationship building and positive interactions with people.
